Today’s Pill (17): The Class of Nobodies

The nobodies are a new class of “superior” citizens, the nouveaux riches, and, contrary to word’s definition, they are extremely important to the ruling parties’ existence. You’ve seen them recently on the hills of the Parliament at Bon Jovi’s concert, where they paid no tickets and were admitted by the lists; they “earned” special pensions (w/out contributing,) inflated salaries that are not correlated with their knowledge and skills, vacation vouchers, perks, bonuses and conference trips, free cars and, for some of their leaders, even the right to go in vacation with the secretaries; most of their family members are sucking from the state’s money pipeline; working with and among them requires “special” references, usually some fat cat to vouch for you; and, with a few exceptions, love fb and living a lavish lifestyle. The nobodies are superior to any other citizens by deeds or rights; and don’t imagine they have high education degrees, if any (or not fake.) In return, they unconditionally vote with the ruling parties.

They are the result of local politics, and tell a lot about this nation. A nation with an abt. 23% unemployment rate at the under 28 yo category, and with some five million individuals struggling to earn a living abroad.
