Now, when you’re either WFH or in socially-distanced workplaces (with all the due respect for those fighting in the first lines,) is the time to show your bosses that you’re able to think for the team and make decisions that position your company for the future. If you’re good at keeping the ”trains running”, but you’re not using all you knowledge and skills to proactively improve or change something in your organization when the times are as tough as now, you won’t be considered for the new reality’s company structure or even promotion. Your boss or the founder want to know what you think and how ready you are to make bigger decisions. Therefore, put the knowledge learned to good use, understand the trends, refresh your connection networks, communicate, and keep in mind that an exec coach can help you learn how to demonstrate and apply these skills, have greater control and project greater confidence. No matter your level, you can demonstrate passion and strategic thinking by executing, for example, your first innovative project that shows that your understanding extends beyond your current function.
