Today’s Pill (40): Let’s look just a bit ahead

No matter if this pandemic is here to stay (become seasonal, have periodic mutations or match one of the doomsday scenarios already prefigured) or else:

Food and water are, no doubt, as valuable as air.

Some businesses tied to physical activities that put people in close proximity with one another are/will be suffering till closure. The decline in prices across the market will present investors with an unprecedented opportunity to buy.

Most sports will move quickly to transition their seasons to the virtual realm (F1, Nascar, and some football championships are already there) — harder to monetize compared to the live events, but paralleling them as audience (what about the Olympics?) Needless to say about the online games, which are a way of life for many.

It’s more than clear that technology has a huge role to play across every industry and around the world, so it will keep on booming and making billionaires.

Sleeping to stay healthy (#1 natural way to boost immunity) and at home exercising are encouraged.

Mobility as a service, telemedicine + digital health, online education, smart robots and remote working/WFH are the new normal. (to be continued)
